i see... are you on there much? i havent seen you around there.. i thought i was the oldest guy on there for a while, then some dude whos 45 starts trying to plug his metal band... pretty funny. he got shredded by those guys... he probably quit the band, sold his instruments and went out and bought a suit and a tie instead.

no i'm rarely on there...I just had to reactivate my account cause they had it killed. I will get on more often though.
yeah, i go there from time to time. i'll be on for a few weeks, then off for a month or more... it gets boring from time to time....

I'm on lastfm too..pretty sure by the same username. since I don't listen to much music on my pc I don't really get a lot out of it. But its definitely a cool idea for discovering music.
i cant really think of any reason to join PV...
i joined last year cuz i came across some great links. i was able to get digital versions of most of my vinyl library both present and past within a few weeks as well as a good deal of new stuff.
i lurked for a week or so, then i joined, half to post about my blog, which i got flamed for, badly, for self promoting, and then i also wanted to give back a little after taking so much.
it is comical at times, and some of the people are cool, but since getting caught up with most of the links it has become less interesting unless they start talking about a new band...

the band intended them all to go together so i feel like i am getting the complete picture when i have all of those things..
i used to have an account. i did a cleansing though and that was one i 86d.
i did get lots of good stuff from that 360+ page thread in the hardcore forum.

No, I'm pretty sure Spirit Assembly and even Milkwede were not Amish. They just both happen to be from Lancaster where there is a significant Amish population. I worked with Dru from SA one summer.
I have "Fruit of Hate" and "Old Joe The Eternal" 7"s. Once I get a new needle for my records player, I'll convert them to MP3s and upload them.
