Don't die. It happens to all bloggers. If you overcome this crisis your blog could go on forever. If not, it was meant to disappear.

Peace.

you can't quit on us now, hardcore was about ideas goddammit, and the freedom to dispell those ideas on the unassuming public weather they liked it or not. god knows how many zines i've written over the years that i've poured myself into only to be used to mop up beer spills. i think what you've done with this blog in a short amount of time is amazing, sometimes i don't have the time to comment but i'm here multiple times a day because the community is something special. i never thought the internet would have re-established a network of people united by a common love, in a little more than a decade we've gone from bbs to the blogosphere. shit is out of control but when you use it the right way it can create something beneficial. look how many blogs have sprouted up in the last month because of this blog. i've got one, kyle and walt have started an amazing one of their own, and as you've already pointed out gabba did us all up and started two. it's not because we don't care, it's because now we've got our own posts to work on. i think the addition of the contributors was a great idea, and have decided to do the same thing myself with some friends from back home who are all now scattered. zen is a piece of a greater puzzle, and if yours turns up missing, we're never gonna know what the picture fully looks like.
i ramble.
carry on.
email me yr #, it sounds like you need a beer.

i like free music, but it's sad when a dialogue is ignored in favor of getting caught up "i'm posting this..." kinda thing. not to be a douche (hey, i've scored some good downloads & had some key requests filled), but it's a shame when relating experiances (about said band / album / live show) is cancelled out in a rush of mediafire posts... wow, this sounds like an "ebullition-rape letter", but i assure you - i'm not a potato sack, pc darling! cheers to interaction, jeers to mindless consumption!

so, maybe this is why 'things is all quiet yo'!

I don't think it's cos nobody cares, it's just cos most people are quiet... it took me quite a while before I started commenting here, and I always had a nagging feeling I was interrupting someone's conversation (so for all you lurkers out there... ya know we love ya... we want interruptions, it's what makes the internet interesting)...

as empirical evidence; 37 people have already downloaded Han Shan, which is a 18:1 ratio to comments (my own comment obviously didn't count... and you and papstar probably already have it)... and the HWM, that has been dl'd nearly as many times... and with 0 comments, which makes it an infinite ratio!

So people are here, and the seem to be interested enough in the blogs... that's good enough for me I guess.

i know guys,,, i do this for the love...

i was in a bad mood last night... i shouldnt have posted.... I was SOOO psyched about the brainworms show and pics, i wanted others to feel psyched... and some were...

i also saw Ceaseu Upon the Capitol last night, and there were 20 people there and the drummer Ryan said he was psyched to meet me, cuz no one ever writes them to tell them they like their stuff...

meanwhile people are popping off about how amazing CUTC is, how the EP is the best of the year, and these guys sit in Tennessee and not one single person writes them, and he's psyched to meet me, a 30 yr old!

i also had the most mind numbing train ride home last night... shoulda been 30 minutes tops, ended up being hour 45 minutes!!! i was very annoyed...

so i shouldnt have posted that... zen will not die... i just let me negativity address the wrong things...

thanks for your words... i dont require comments, and it seems paps has made some posts... but my aims werent at paps or anyone particular...

Whiner. Man up. No one cares about my DIY post on my blog. I don't bitch. I have written emails to Cease, but I guess it isn't the same thing as sending an actual letter. Glad you got to see Third Memory, because they are really freakin good.

Hey, I just discovered your blog last night and went through and read almost every post, not to mention was able to download a bunch of sweet 90s hc that i have on vinyl and havent listened to in a few years. Just wanted to say that I was psyched to read and see someone who was into all the music i was into back in the day. Some of still stands up quite well against the years. Anyway, I am digging on the blog and plan on checking it out quite frequently.

No put up a post of every single band that Mike Kirsch has been in and my ipod will be extremely happy. Today it is very happy to be rocking Merel and Native Nod. Thanks.

Dude, Dont stop now!!!! This is an outstanding blog! resurrecting these albums has been the best thing ive done all year. Every visit here is like a time-travel back to a place in my life when all that mattered was whose playing on friday night. Thanks so much for bringing back these awesome and obscure tunes for everyone.

PLease repost the Please Inform The Captain downloads. they dont work anymore. I have the records, but since i really just listen to my ipod i dont have them to listen to anymore. Also if any one can point me in the direction of Navio Forge and all of the Admiral stuff that would be sweet. ahh... to relive the early 90s when everything was new and seemed so sincere.

Also does anyone have the cornelius 7"s online. those were pretty amazing and catchy.

I just discovered this blog, so please please please do not stop this blog.

It has been such a great resource. I'm separated from my record collection - its in Oregon, I'm in France - and this site has allowed me to download some of my fave records in mp3 format so that I can listen to them while abroad.

My only question - can you post the Evergreen LP? The Russian site that had it seems to be broken.
